Priscilla Presley talks secret chat with Elvis, while dating Robert Kardashian

Priscilla Presley has made some unexpected candid confessions about her love life, involving past flames Robert Kardashian and Elvis Presley.

The 80-year-old opened up about a time when she took a call from the "King of Rock and Roll" while she was in bed with the attorney.

In the Priscilla writer’s new memoir, Softly, As I Leave You: Life After Elvis the businesswoman writes that two years after her divorce from the Burning Love singer had contacted her at 2am, not considering the time or circumstances.  

"Despite our divorce, he still couldn’t wrap his head around my being with someone else, he’d have gone ballistic, maybe literally, if he’d known Robert was in my bedroom,” she writes of Elvis.

The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad! actress added that the Forrest Gump actor would always carry a loaded gun, hinting at just how poorly the situation could have gone but her then-boyfriend and ex-husband never found out about each other.

"Fortunately, [Kardashian] was a sound sleeper, so I leaped out of bed and grabbed the phone before it woke him, I tiptoed down the hall to the guest bedroom and shut the door to listen to the familiar voice,” Priscilla revealed.

The mother-of-two emphasises that she and Robert could have never worked out because he wanted get married and she wasn’t ready for that which lead them to break things off and remain friends.

Elis passed away due to a heart attack on August 16, 1977, which came as a result of worsening health conditions as a result of unhealthy eating habits and years of substance abuse.
