Priscilla Presley is currently locked in a legal battle against her former business partners, Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko.
On September 5, filings obtained by People stated that Priscilla allegedly put ‘undue financial pressure’ on ex-husband, Elvis Presley, which ‘pushed’ him to his death.
The 80-year-old businesswoman denied the claims as her lawyer, Marty D. Singer, spoke with the above-mentioned outlet, defending her with an outlandish statement.
He said, “Priscilla did not have anything to do with the assassination of JFK, she did not cover up Area 51, she did not fake the moon landing, and she is not secretly keeping Bigfoot locked in a cabin in Canada.”
Marty urged the magazine to “take off the aluminium foil hat and face reality” as his client is a victim of elder abuse by Brigitte and Kevin.
Notably, in August, the defendants filed a suit against the actress, alleging that she ‘schemed to defraud them and ignored her daughter Lisa Marie Presley’s health concerns in an attempt to ‘regain control’ of the estate.
As of now, a judge has not yet ruled on the claims.
For the unversed, Priscilla was 21 when she married the 32-year-old Elvis. In 1973, the couple filed for divorce after six years of a rocky marriage, and four years later, the iconic musician passed away.
They shared one daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, who died in January 2023 at the age of 54.
Lisa Marie Presley died on January 12, 2023 from complications of a small bowel obstruction, which was a result of a surgery she had several years prior.
