It was revealed E! News that the Grammy winner will remain a no-show at the award ceremony despite being nominated in the category Artist of the Year.

The songstress is currently tied with Beyonce as the most awarded artist at the ceremony’s history; however, it appears the singer is busy with something else.

The Lover crooner, who announced to be an absolute football fan now, might be looking forward to attend a match of her fiancé.

These past few weeks proved to be quite happening for Taylor as she announced her album The Life of A Showgirl on New Heights podcast and later revealed she is now engaged.

However, it was later revealed by the Kansas City Chief’s father that his son popped the big question two weeks before the official announcement on Instagram.

When will VMAs air?

The event, which will be attended by notable celebrities, is being held at the UBS Arena in New York and is expected to start at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
