Kanye West, who is known for being a controversial figure in the industry, dropped a bombshell after documentary hit theatres on September 19.
After his explosive clips with Kim Kardashian's mother were unveiled in the new movie In Whose Name?, Kanye made an announcement on his X (formerly Twitter).
According to the new update, Ye would be performing “live in South Africa, Johannesburg” on December 13, 2025, which will be his only performance in the country.
Previously, the Yeezy owner took the stage by storm in South Korea and China after one of his shows were cancelled due to his controversies and rants.
The die-hand fans were sent in to a frenzy as one user on the platform admitted that they will be “going there” even “if he doesn’t show up.”
Another netizen claimed that the concert might get cancelled as the “Monyake Group” allegedly does not have the “ability or capability of bringing him [to South Africa].”
A third user, desperate to get a ticket to his musicale, jokingly wrote: “I got 2 months to sell my grandma house.”
While the singer announced his concert, he is yet to address the sudden backing of his ghostwriter Dave Blunts who is credited for creating debatable songs on Kanye’s album.
Although In a Perfect World might face a delay due to Dave’s exit, the rapper is looking forward to release his solo record Bully.
