Jimmy Fallon, who is popular for running The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, is expected to face what Jimmy Kimmel went through.
Kimmel’s late night show was taken off air by ABC for indefinite time after he made a remark about late Charlie Kirk, which stirred a controversy.
Soon after, President Donald Trump released a statement on social media to slam the 57-year-old host which notably also mentioned Fallon and Seth.
Trump stated that both the remaining TV hosts are “total losers, on Fake News NBC.” He claimed that their “ratings are also horrible. Do it NBC!!!”
It seemed like the politician is encouraging the channel to also take the other programmes off air.
Initially, the 79-year-old announced “Great News for America: The ratings challenged Jimmy Kimmel Show is CANCELLED.”
The 47th president also congratulated the broadcasting channel for “finally having the courage to do what had to be done.”
Trump called out the comedian for having “ZERO talent” while comparing his ratings with that of Colbert, “if that’s possible.”
It is to be noted that the assassination of Kirk was first announced by the president, honouring the deceased with special orders of U.S flags to half-staff.
The 31-year-old conservative political activist, who maintained close ties with the politician, called out the party for “desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it.”
