Macaulay Culkin, Brenda Song and Andy Samberg join 'Zootopia 2' cast

Macauley Culkin, Brenda Song, and Andy Samberg have joined the cast of the Disney animated movie Zootopia 2.
As per TheWrap, the beloved Hollywood couple is set to play the Lynxley siblings, while Samberg portrays the easy-going runt of the family.
According to the synopsis of the film, the Lynxleys are an old family in Zootopia who are responsible for building the weather walls that help the various biomes function.
Aside from Samberg and the Culkins, the powerful patriarch will be played by David Strathairn.
Netizens took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to express their sentiments about the casting. One fan wrote, “This is the most 2000s-core casting possible.”
Another well-wisher penned, “Great collaboration.”
Notably, Zootopia 2 is directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard and brings back the cast from the original film. Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Shakira, and Ke Huy Quan.
It will follow police partners, Judy and Nick Wilde, on a twisting trail of mysterious reptiles who turn the mammal metropolis upside down.
Previously, the film grossed over $1 billion at the box office, with $341 million domestically and $682.5 million internationally.
