Kendall Jenner reveals surprising details of Gigi Hadid

Kendall Jenner has revealed she was once completely in awe of Gigi Hadid and even a little intimidated before they became close friends.

Speaking in a joint interview with U.S. Vogue, the 29-year-old model, admitted she first knew Gigi through her younger sister Bella Hadid.

Kendall confessed she was “blown away” by the 30-year-old TV personality’s striking looks every time she posted on social media.

“I remember I was intimidated by you,” the reality star told Gigi. 

“I was like, ‘She’s so gorgeous.’ You posted this black-and-white photo with your long blonde mane. It went viral on Tumblr. I had acne and braces and I remember thinking, ‘What the f**k?’”

The supermodel, who was named International Model of the Year by the British Fashion Council,  laughed off the revelation, insisting she felt “awkward too” at the time.

The pair officially bonded in New York City while the style icon was at university and starting out in modelling, with Kendall often inviting her to stay at Kim Kardashian’s apartment during work trips.

“I was your biggest fan,” Keeping With The Kardashians star recalled fondly, remembering the early show seasons they spent together. 

Gigi returned the sentiment, sharing a heartwarming memory of the runway queen guiding her during her first Chanel fitting in Paris in 2014.
