Margot Robbie played the iconic Barbie in its live-action adaptation by Greta Gerwing, and people have since been eagerly waiting for news of a sequel.
The Academy Award nominee described how she feel about the billion dollar box office blockbuster’s part 2, and if there are any current plans for it.
In an interview with Stellar Magazine, The Wolf of Wall Street actress stated “I've realised the thing that I get the most satisfaction from in life is things or people reaching their full potential, Barbie was a movie that reached its full potential. Like, everything I wanted for it happened. There's nothing more satisfying than that.”
Margot was also asked if there is any indication that the movie is going to have a sequel, to which she replied, “There's nothing right now.”
Elsewhere in the issue the 35-year-old touched on her latest film, A Big Bold Beautiful Journey which is set to be released on September 19.
The Suicide Squad star revealed that she loved the script of the film and wanted to do a love story, and act alongside Colin Farrel.
Notably, the fantasy film follows two strangers who discover that they can relive some of the most important moments from their pasts together.
