Prince Harry proved he hasn’t changed despite stepping back from royal life.

The Duke of Sussex, 40, returned to the UK this week to visit charities close to his heart, including the Community Recording Studio (CRS) in Nottingham.

The centre teaches audio and video skills to young creatives, helping them gain industry contacts and confidence.

Harry sat in on performances and spent time chatting with young people. CRS CEO Trevor Rose told People that the prince’s presence immediately put nervous performers at ease.

“It’s fun and jokes the whole way… he wants to know how best he can support us,” he said.

Youth engagement lead Jourdan Blair echoed the sentiment: “You’d think with his status, his head would be in the clouds. But no, he’s grounded, man. His feet are on the ground, and he’s ready to put that work in.”

Rose added: “It’s Harry all day. He still cares, he still wants to know what we’re about. He won’t just walk in, take a picture, and leave — he wants to feel the energy.”

Some young performers even overcame stage fright just to sing for Harry, an experience Rose described as “mind-changing.”
