Prince Harry picked up two adorable souvenirs for his children, Archie and Lilibet, during his return to the UK this week.
The Duke of Sussex, 40, attended the WellChild Awards in London on Monday, where he met nine-year-old Gwen Foster, winner of the Inspirational Child award. Gwen, who lives with spina bifida and hydrocephalus, surprised Harry with tiny football shirts for his kids.
Archie received a Brighton & Hove Albion top, while Lilibet got a Wigan Athletic shirt.
Harry beamed as he accepted the gifts, telling Gwen: “Best gift ever, thank you so much. This is so cool, it’s going to make them so happy.”
The duke and Gwen then shared a playful moment, battling with balloon swords before the ceremony began.
Later, in his speech, Harry praised the remarkable children recognized by the charity, calling them a “beacon of hope and inspiration.”
He told the audience: “This is your moment. Each of you is a beacon of hope and inspiration, not just to those in this room, but to the nation. Keep fighting. Keep smiling. And above all, keep showing us what strength, courage and joy really look like.”
