Hannah Montana and Young Sheldon star Emily Osment has ended her marriage with musician Anthony Farina.
They had only been married for 5 months when she filed for the divorce at the Los Angeles Superior Court. It was dissolved on Monday by a judge after they completed the mandatory 6 month waiting period.
Reportedly, the two separated only two months after their wedding took place in October, citing irreconcilable differences.
This was the first time the 33 year old actress had gotten married, rising to fame through her breakout role in Hannah Montana alongside Miley Cyrus.
She went on to star in other sitcoms including Young & Hungry and Young Sheldon, and the latter’s spinoff Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage.
Farina is a DJ, music producer and singer-songwriter who releases his music on Soundcloud.
In a statement to People, Osment remarked, "I think with any big decision in your life, whether it’s relationships or work or whatever it may be, you have to firmly plant both feet in that decision. Ultimately, it didn’t work out."
At the time of their engagement, she wrote in her announcement post, "I did not know life could be this sweet. I am so proud of the life we have built together and the people we have become over the last few years."
