Comedian Nate Bargatze will host the ceremony, airing live from the Peacock Theatre in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday, Sept. 14, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on CBS. The event will also stream on Paramount+ for eligible subscribers.

Alongside Sweeney (Euphoria), Colbert (The Late Show), and Ortega (Wednesday), stars including Tina Fey (Four Seasons), Sterling K. Brown (Paradise), and Mariska Hargitay (Law & Order: SVU) are also set to take the stage, CBS and the Television Academy announced Tuesday.

Over the weekend, HBO Max’s The Penguin and Apple TV+’s The Studio stole the spotlight on the opening night of the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, racking up multiple wins across major categories.

On the second night, NBC’s SNL50: The Anniversary Special dominated with seven trophies. Overall, The Studio leads with nine awards, followed by The Penguin with eight, SNL50 with seven, Severance with six, and Andor, Arcane, Love, Death + Robots, and The Traitors each landing four.

Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon, and Jeannae Rouzan-Clay of Jesse Collins Entertainment return as executive producers for the 77th Emmy Awards, marking their third consecutive year overseeing the show.
