Matthew Perry’s death case has reached a pivotal point.
The actor, famously known for playing the role of Chandler Bing on the hit sitcom Friends, was found lifeless in his home in LA on October 28, 2023.
The sudden death of the star prompted a series of investigations and inquires which led to individuals who had a role in his demise.
Jasveen Sangha, often called the “Ketamine Queen” has now pleaded guilty to five charges, including supplying the ketamine that led to Matthew’s death.
The admission was made in a Los Angeles court hearing on Wednesday.
The 42-year-old, who is a dual citizen of US and UK, pleaded guilty to one count of distribution of ketamine resulting in death, one count of maintaining a drug-involved premises, and three counts of distribution of ketamine.
She is now facing up to 65 years in prison. The sentence hearing is set for December 10 in Los Angeles.
Matthew’s eventual cause of death was revealed as accidental drowning caused by the acute effects of ketamine use.
The actor has been acquiring the drug through illegal means and shortly before he passed away, he had bought large amounts of the drug from Jasveen.
Four other individuals are currently faces charges as well.
