Italian actress Caterina Murino, known for being the Bond girl, has welcomed her first child at the age of 47.
The actress is widely known for her role as Solange Dimitrios in the 2006 James Bond movie Casino Royale. She starred opposite Daniel Craig in the movie.
The 47-year-old gave birth to a baby boy in August after dealing with a string of fertility woes in the past years.
The new mother shared the happy news on her Instagram account with the a post captioned, “Demetrio Tancredi Rigaud Murino 21st August 6.17pm”
The Art of Love star embraced motherhood after suffering two miscarriages and a gruelling IVF journey, which she has opened up about previously.
“Not having children is a pain, not a regret. At 46, I think the one who distributes miracles has forgotten about me.”, she said about the pain of not conceiving.
Earlier this year, she had revealed to the French magazine Gala that she had conceived successfully using IVF.
Caterina has been in a relationship with French Lawyer Edouard Rigaud since 2019. The pair has been residing in his home country, in Paris.
