MrBeast, whose real name is James Stephen Donaldson, made a wild announcement through a video that sent his fans into a frenzy.

The YouTuber, notable for creating wealth through his presence on the platform, was announced as the new owner of the league.

In reality, the video campaign marked the platform gaining rights to stream NFL game between Los Angeles Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs on September 5.

In the clip, it was stated by the league’s commission Roger Goodell that it is “now under the ownership of one individual, Jimmy Donaldson, MrBeast.”

The internet personality introduced major changes in the American football, claiming to increase “the roster from 53 players to 54,” reserving the new spot for a “YouTuber.”

Upon hearing this, Roger interrupted to stop him and say: “No Jimmy, we can’t.”

This was followed by famous influencers chaotically competing against one another for that one spot.

A fan pointed out in the comment section: “Bro is completing side quest” while another one thought it was a prank, checking to see “if today was the first of April.”

Is NFL game available on YouTube?

The clip concludes with MrBeast announcing: “For the first time ever, Chargers vs. Chiefs will be for free on YouTube.”

Although many notable figures were included in the clip assigned to different teams, there are more than 537,000 stakeholders while each team is under different owners.
