Blake Lively, who is suing Justin Baldoni for sexual harassment and smear campaign, cleared the air after being called out by famous journalist.
Although the 38-year-old actress sent subpoena to many influencers, Blake clapped back at claims from Megyn Kelly.
The It Ends With Us actress’ team shared a statement with Us Weekly, denying sending any summon requests to Megyn in the ongoing case with Justin.
“At no point in this litigation has Ms.Lively served a subpoena on Megyn Kelly,” her team insisted.
However, Blake’s spokesperson pointed out that the actress is “continuing to pursue discovery” to prove her allegations of facing “harassment” on the set.
Her team member insisted that “seeking evidence through discovery is a normal part of the litigation process.”
On the other hand, the journalist claimed on her podcast that the Another Simple Favor actress attempted to gain access to her “confidential and proprietary materials” on “all stories about her.”
She further called the Hollywood A-lister a “terrible” person during the entire broadcast.
The 54-year-old revealed that she and the filmmaker of the romantic drama have the same lawyer, Bryan Freedman, which might be the reason Blake dragged her in to the suit.
After the host slammed the Betty Buzz owner for being narcissistic, the plaintiff’s team has seemingly not denied the entire action of involving Megyn, giving reason for their demand of documents.
