Sabrina Carpenter has made a surprising revelation about Taylor Swift, crediting the pop icon with being a life-changing inspiration.
The 26-year-old singer, who is set to feature on Taylor’s highly anticipated album The Life of a Showgirl, has opened up about her deep admiration for her.
While speaking on CBS Mornings, the Nonsense singer admitted that the global superstar played a pivotal role in shaping her musical journey.
“I’ve been looking up to her since I was… I remember the first time I heard a song by her. I was eight years old on the school bus, and my life was changed,” she said.
Carpenter, who has admired the Bad Blood hitmaker since 2009, also joined her on the record-breaking Eras Tour.
Beyond their professional collaborations, the duo also enjoy a close friendship.
Last year, the Espresso singer told Variety that the 14-time Grammy winner is one of her “best, best friends.”
Moreover, she also shared her happiness over Taylor’s recent engagement to NFL star Travis Kelce, saying simply, “I’m just happy for them.”
Sabrina Carpenter recently released Tears on August 29, 2025, serving as the second single from her seventh studio album Man’s Best Friend.
