Jimmy Fallon’s Password has officially been renewed for Season 3 by NBC, featuring a new lineup of contestants competing for a chance to win up to $25,000.

The classic game show, originally launched in the 1960s, features Fallon teaming up with a contestant to take on a celebrity-guest-and-contestant duo.

With Keke Palmer co-hosting, the teams trade one-word clues in a race to guess the secret password and take home cash prizes. Production on the new season has just kicked off.

The renewal follows a strong run for the show’s second season, which premiered in March 2024 and drew more than 32 million viewers across NBC and Peacock.

The series also scored several major Emmy nominations at the 2024 awards, including Outstanding Game Show.

Fremantle produces the Password in association with Universal Television Alternative Studio and Fallon’s Electric Hot Dog. Fallon, John Quinn, and Jeffrey Breeden, who also serves as showrunner, executive producer.

It’s just one of many projects on Fallon’s slate. Alongside hosting The Tonight Show, he’s also launching a new reality series this fall, On Brand with Jimmy Fallon.

“We couldn’t be more excited to return to Password,” Fallon and Palmer said in a joint statement. “It’s the only show where you get to lock eyes with a total stranger and somehow bet that they’ll know when you say ‘fluffy,’ you mean ‘pillow.’ We love working together so much, and this season we’re taking it up a notch with bigger guests, wilder guesses, and guaranteed laughs.”
