American singer Lady Gaga makes emotional announcement during live concert
Lady Gaga, who is currently headlining Mayhem Ball tour in support of her latest album, couldn’t control her tears as she addressed the New York crowd.
After the 39-year-old lived a full circle moment, emotional Gaga shared a conversation she had with her fiancé Michael Polansky before taking the stage.
Right before the show, Michael reminded the Abracadabra hitmaker: “When you go out there, let them fill you up.”
Her close friend China also encouraged the singer when she recalled “fighting really hard” for her dreams in the city.
While Gaga was thinking of just fighting “my way through this whole show,” her friend gave her a “really special” advice.
“Sometimes you don’t have to fight, you just have to show up,” a suggestion which was deeply cherished by the pop icon.
After announcing, the Bad Romance crooner performed Hair from her sophomore album Born This Way, noting it’s a “very special” record for her.
She honoured the place with a moving statement: “I am sure all my albums could not be made without New York but I am sure that this album would not have been made without New York.”
It is to be noted that the place played an important role in helping the Grammy winner develop her signature, eccentric style as she rose to fame.
