Lily Collins’ father-in-law makes surprising remark about ‘Emily in Paris’

Lily Collins, who got married to Charlie McDowell in in 2021, has earned some comments on her role in Emily in Paris.

The Mirror Mirror actress’s father-in-law Malcolm McDowell made a shocking admission about the beloved show in his latest interview.

In an issue with People magazine, A Clockwork Orange star confessed, "To be honest with you, it's not my kind of thing, and Lily knows that,” adding, “but I'm the biggest fan of my daughter-in-law.”

The 82-year-old proceeded to gush over the 36-year-old stating that she has a beautiful aura and that she has a beautiful quality to her.

"As far as I'm concerned, when she's on the screen, there's nobody else on it, because she's not only a good actress, but she has a beautiful quality. I suppose, it's a sort of charisma," Malcolm said, praising Lily.

Notably, although the Et Tu actor doesn’t prefer to binge the romantic comedy drama, it will be coming out with its fifth season for its global audience.

The Netflix series has significant viewership and has even been credited as one of the most-watched shows on the platform.

According to the official announcement, the release date of upcoming season is 18th December 2025.
