Eddie Murphy left stunned by THIS remark
The actor was caught off guard by a surprising comment
Eddie Murphy revealed a co-star made a comment on him that left him speechless.
The actor admitted to Variety that a co-star called him “old man”, which he was taken aback by.
The incident happened while he was filming improvised moments in his last two movies, Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F and The Pickup.
The 64-year-old said, “When I had fight scenes, during the fight scene, the actors, they were improvising and they were two young guys and both of them said, 'Come on, old man!' I almost said cut. I was like, 'Who are they talking to?' It's like I'm the old guy in the fight scene.”
Calling it “strange”, Eddie said it caught him off guard. He added that there was another instance when the same thing happened and his instant reaction was to say “Hey!”.
“I feel like me still - just a little stiffer”, he explained.
Explaining why it stunned him, he said he does not feel old yet and his age does not align with how he feels about himself.
