Sophie Turner shares concern for new ‘Harry Potter’ cast

English actress Sophie Turner has spoken about her fears for young performers in the age of social media.
The actress was only 13 when she landed the role that would skyrocket her career.
The young actress was cast in the HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones as Sansa Stark.
The 29-year-old has expressed her fear for young actors who are thrust into the spotlight at an early age and are exposed to the evils of social media.
“I look at the kids who are about to be in the new Harry Potter and I just want to give them a hug and say, 'Look, it's going to be okay but don't go anywhere near (social media).”, Sophie said.
She addressed the new cast of Harry Potter, series who will be starring in the iconic series adaptation of the books after the success of movies.
Advising the young stars, she said, “Stay friends with your home friends, keep living at home with your family, make sure your parents are your chaperones”.
Sophie also revealed how the social media influenced her growing up saying, “It almost destroyed me on numerous occasions.”
Dominic McLaughlin, who will play the young wizard, is only 11 as he has started shooting for the series in London.
