Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran go head-to-head

The two American pop stars and one British star are preparing to battle each other on the charts.

Taylor Swift recently announced that her much anticipated album, The Life of a Showgirl, will be released on October 3.

The album will be Taylor’s twelfth studio album and first after wrapping her record breaking Eras tour.

On the other hand, Sabrina Carpenter is ready to release her seventh studio album, Man’s Bestfriend on August 29.

Sabrina’s album will be her follow up to her Grammy-winning Short ‘n Sweet, which was released in 2024.

Ed Sheeran will be dropping his eighth studio album, Play, on September 12.

The three pop stars will battle on charts to claim the top spots.

The 26-year-old is already leading the pre-saves war against her industry seniors.

On Spotify pre-saves, Sabrina’s album is ranked number one, followed by Taylor’s upcoming album sitting on second spot.

The third spot is occupied by Ed Sheeran’s album due to release after Sabrina’s.

Taylor has released no single from the album yet even though she has revealed the track-list of the 12-track album.

Sabrina released her first single from the record way before she even announced the album. The single titled Manchild was released on June 6.

Ed has been enjoying worldwide success with his pre-released singles. The album is supported by four singles, Azizam, Old Phone, Sapphire, and A Little More.
