Oscar-winning actress Emma Stone says her momentous role in The Amazing Spider-Man franchise remains a “really special time” in her life.
Recently, Stone sat down with Vogue for an interview where she broke down some of her most iconic looks over the years. While presenting a photo of herself at the 2014 London premiere of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, the Hollywood leading lady reflected on both the gown and her experience with the films.
Clad in a striking yellow Versace dress, Stone praised the glamorous look and recalled her time working on the two beloved superhero movies.
“I really loved doing Spider-Man. I loved everybody I worked with,” she said. “I met Andrew [Garfield] there, I met Sally Field, Marc Webb was wonderful. It was a really special time in my life.”
Stone added: “That’s the recurring theme — the people, more than the film itself, are what stay with me for so long. I have only the fondest memories of this experience.”
However, there is one thing the La La Land alum doesn’t miss about starring in the blockbuster franchise: the gruelling press tours.
“I will say the press tours for these films — I don’t really know how people do it,” Stone admitted. “I remember it being nine countries in maybe two weeks, and you’re functioning in a state of jet lag never previously known to you. I felt truly psychotic the entire time. So, I’m half dead in this picture, but I love the look.”
