Maya Hawke opens up about 'regret' soon after wedding

Maya Thurman, who got married to her partner on the day of love, Valentine's Day, has opened up about her wedding.

The daughter of famous stars, Ethan Hawke and Emma Thurman revealed her day was "picture-perfect" but there was one thing she would change.

In a candid conversation with PEOPLE, she stated, "it was a wonderful day, and I probably wouldn't want to say anything more about it than that."

She added, "Be selfish. Because I worried so much about how everyone else's experience was going to go that I'd worked myself into a total tizzy"

Maya confessed she was very worried about everybody enjoying her special day with her and that now she wishes that she wouldn't have thought about it that much.

Sharing the piece of wisdom she got from her experience, she said, "I wasted a lot of energy being so worried, so if I had any advice, it would be worry less,"

The 27-year-old tied the knot with her lover, Christian Lee Huston, on February 14th in a surprise, private ceremony in New York City.

The occasion bought many stars at the event, including her co-stars from the show Stranger Things and other recognisable names in the industry.
