Beyoncé, celebrated for her chart-topping hits, has added a new accolade to her illustrious career, earning her first-ever Primetime Emmy Award.
The Television Academy announced the winners of the 77th Emmy Awards in juried categories on Tuesday.
The 43-year-old singer was recognised for Outstanding Costumes for Variety, Nonfiction, or Reality Programming.
The award marked a milestone in her career as she continued to expand her influence beyond music.
She was honoured for her costume design in the Netflix special Beyoncé Bowl.
In addition, the Obsessed actress received two further nominations: Outstanding Variety Special (Live) and Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special.
This achievement brings the Halo singer closer to completing the rare EGOT.
For those unfamiliar, it is an entertainment industry milestone for those who have won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony.
Her halftime performance during the NFL Christmas Gameday attracted over 27 million viewers in the United States, setting a record.
She also recently made headlines with the release of her country-inspired album, Cowboy Carter.
Beyoncé has three dots which might represent her three children. Back in 2008, she told Essence magazine that she chose a tattoo over an engagement ring.
The singer felt that too much importance was placed on material things, calling it “just silly.”
