Cardi B gears to release new song with 'special twist'

Cardi B, who is going strong with her beau Stefon Diggs, drove fans wild as she announced her new track Imaginary Players.

As the 32-year-old rapper is known for her unique style, Cardi is reportedly looking forward to channel this in her upcoming single of album Am I The Drama?

According to several reports, the WAP hitmaker have sampled Jay Z’s 1997 classic in the new song to give it a unique twist.

The Grammy winner announced on her social media: “Just a lil taste of the drama” which will be available for streaming “this Friday,” August 15.

The Empire State of Mind crooner released his song with the same name almost three decades ago for his second studio album In My Lifetime, Vol. 1.

Soon after the news began to make the rounds, fans were convinced that they will hear the two rappers together in the upcoming track.

One of the X users admitted that this is “gonna be interesting if this is THAT sample.” Another fan mentioned her former beau: “Yeah offset I think you in trouble my boy.”

A third admirer shared a picture of the two singers smiling, noting about the speculated move: “oh [Cardi] about to chew tf down and make few b***hes mad.”

The music lovers are excited to see their worlds collide if the collaboration between the 55-year-old and the Up singer happens.

It is to be noted that the American rapper herself hasn’t addressed the ongoing rumours.
