While fans were looking forward to the shows, the band raised eyebrows by changing the name from JONAS20: Living the Dream to JONAS20: Greetings from My Hometown.
This was pointed out by many fans as one Reddit user called out the band members for being a “mess,” noting that they do not care “for the fans who spend so much money on them.”
Another fan was of the opinion that the Sucker hitmakers’ label is really “bad at marketing them,” which is the reason why their “tour isn’t selling."
Changing the name after announcing tour can cause confusion amongst music lovers, who are looking forward to the concerts. This can have a negative impact on marketing of the shows.
