BLACKPINK is reportedly planning to release a mini album in November.
According to My Daily reporter, Kim Jin-seok, the K-pop girl group has finished the jacket photoshoot for the album and plans on recording the new songs within two months.
As per a music industry insider, the girls were originally planned to drop their music album in October, but the dates changed.
They added, “The schedule has changed, and they are planning to release it in November and possibly perform on music shows.”
However, YG Entertainment, the record label that oversees the band, stated, “We will announce it later through an official promotion.”
Notably, BLACKPINK recently dropped their first single, JUMP, after a two-year break, and the track immediately received massive success on international and national charts.
For the unversed, Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rosé released their last album, Born Pink, in 2022 along with a headlining tour, after which the girls took a break to focus on their individual projects.
On May 16, the award-winning band announced their third world tour, Deadline, which began on July 5 in Seoul, South Korea, and will conclude on January 25, 2026, in Hong Kong.
Currently, BLACKPINK is on their European leg of the tour, after which they will take a two-month interval on August 16, before resuming on October 18 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
