Prince Harry may be heading back to Britain as early as next month, and for a cause close to his heart.
The Duke of Sussex, 40, is tipped to attend the 2025 WellChild Awards, the annual ceremony celebrating seriously ill children and their carers.
Harry has served as WellChild patron for 15+ years and flew in solo for the awards in both 2023 and 2024.
While this year’s date and venue remain under wraps (a security measure used last year), organizers typically hold the event in September in London.
The potential trip would mark Harry’s first UK visit since April, when he appeared at a Court of Appeal hearing over his taxpayer-funded security, a case he later lost.
A final call on Harry’s attendance is expected in the coming weeks, and whether or not Meghan Markle will join him, though it remains unlikely.
In a May BBC interview, the prince said he didn’t feel the UK was safe for his family.
Last year, Meghan Markle stayed in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet while Harry presented awards and delivered a heartfelt speech.
If confirmed, expect tight security and last-minute location details, mirroring 2024.
