'Wednesday' star, Moosa Mostafa, shares GCSE advice from Steve Buscemi

Moosa Mostafa, who plays Eugene in Wednesday, has received real-life advice from the show’s new principal, Hollywood A-lister Steve Buscemi.

The Netflix hit, which became the streaming service's most-watched series ever after season one, returned last week with its highly anticipated second season.

The 17-year-old actor reprised his role as the nerdy outcast, but filming in Dublin last year overlapped with his GCSE exams.

Moosa shared glowing praise for Buscemi, who has joined Wednesday’s cast as Nevermore’s new principal, Barry Dort.

"Working with Steve was great," Moosa told the BBC. "He is genuinely one of the nicest people I've ever met."

The young star revealed that production delays meant he had to travel frequently between Ireland and Warwickshire, often revising for his exams in hotel rooms.

Buscemi would “take the time out of his day to come and say hello and give me advice,” Moosa recalled.

"Before the exams, he was telling me, ‘Make sure you do those past papers,’ and even tried to give me revision tests," he said.

"It was his own little way. The cast were very close,” Moosa added.
