MGK shoots down Sydney Sweeney dating rumours after controversy

MGK is finally clearing the air about if there is a spark between him and Sydney Sweeney after the latter’s jeans controversy.

The pair had made headlines in May after meeting at a Las Vegas club opening where they were pictured smiling and hugging each other, and in his latest appearance the rapper issued a clear-cut response.

In the August 10 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, host Andy asked the 35-year-old, whose real name is Colson Barker, a question submitted by a viewer.

“MGK, Kyle P wants to know if there’s any truth to the rumor that you and Sydney Sweeney were more than just friends,” the host asked.

MGK then gave did a disappointed head shake while looking down, before staring at the camera to say, “Kyle P, shut up, dude.”

The blunt and deadpan response made Andy and the audience burst into laughter, leaving no room for further guesswork.

Although the Rap Devil singer has not been the target of any public backlash as of late, the same cannot be said about Sydney.

The Euphoria star became the subject of netizens wrath after she recited an unconventional monologue for an American Eagle ad campaign.

What happened between Megan Fox and MGK?

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly ended their engagement in March 2024 after she found upsetting material on his phone. Despite the split, they welcomed a daughter in March 2025 and are co-parenting.
