Brian Wilson finally laid to rest after almost two months of passing

The Beach Boys singer Brian Wilson passed away on June 11 at the age of 82.

The singer died after a long battle with dementia. But the eventual cause of his death was revealed to be respiratory arrest caused by decreased respiratory effort.

After almost two months of his passing, Brian has been laid to rest.

Brian’s daughter, Carnie Wilson, revealed that she and her family attended the last rituals of the late singer on August 6.

Carnie expressed that attending the funeral gave her some “closure”.

In a post shared on Instagram, Carnie wrote, “Today we laid my Daddy to rest. It was incredibly difficult to see that happen, but’ at the same time it gave more closure and more of a feeling of restful peace.”

The message was shared with a picture of pink, blue and purple flowers.

The late singer’s daughter also said that the past eight weeks, since her father’s death, have been “extremely challenging”. She added that she wished he could come back.

Carnie also opened up about receiving signs from her dead father, which she takes comfort in.

“There's so many signs that he gives me every day and I know that he's around ...he can hear me and he can see me. He makes that apparent. I'm so grateful for this.”
