Final Destination is a movie franchise notorious for being disturbing for its close to reality mishaps that make viewers paranoic as anything could happen anytime with anyone.
The franchise’s sixth movie, Final Destination: Bloodlines, was released earlier in May and received high praised for living up to the reputation of the brand.
Now it has been reported that the seventh movie is already in the works after the success of Bloodlines.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Warner Bros. division is working on the follow up to the sixth movie.
The studios have hired the 2025 movie’s co-writer Lori Evans Taylor to write the next edition.
Final Destination Bloodlines starring Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Anna Lore, Brec Bassinger, and Tony Todd, was made on the budget of $50 million and made $286 million worldwide.
The 2025 edition was by far the most successful one in the series ever since its inception in 2009 while the fifth came in 2011.
