Pedro Pascal in talks with Tony Gilroy for next film ‘Behemoth!’

Pedro Pascal, who dominated headlines in 2025 for his performances, is now talking with director and filmmaker Tony Gilroy for his next film.

The Chilean-American actor isn’t slowing down after the Marvel Studios movie and another Emmy-nominated performance.

Pascal is reportedly pondering starring in the Searchlight Pictures pic Behemoth! from writer-director Gilroy.

However, the deal isn’t finalized yet; sources say that Pascal wants to do it and things are going north.

Gilroy hasn’t revealed the details of the story plot, but he has said in interviews that the film revolves around a cellist.

What is known is that the film is set to begin principal photography this fall in Los Angeles, with release plans to be announced at a later date.

Pascal has enjoyed a successful summer, shining at the box office with A24 and Celine Song’s Materialists, A24 and Ari Aster’s Eddington, and Marvel’s Fantastic Four: First Steps.

All three projects premiered to widespread critical acclaim and positive reviews.

Materialists earned A24’s third-highest-grossing opening ever, and Fantastic Four: First Steps marked Marvel’s highest-grossing opening of 2025.

Although Pascal's collaboration with Gilroy could mark yet another career-defining project, it would also allow him to diversify his performances.

After conquering both indie and blockbuster projects in 2025, teaming with a filmmaker known for character-driven thrillers could further cement Pascal’s versatility.

If Behemoth! delivers Gilroy’s signature award-worthy storytelling, Pascal could dominate the box office in 2026.
