Emma Thompson, who played Sybill Trelawney in the 2004 Harry Potter movie, said it wasn’t the most creative role of her career.

On Aug. 9 at the Locarno Film Festival, where she was a guest of honor, she talked about Trump’s drama.

Speaking to a packed audience for a career Q&A, Thompson was asked about shooting the 1998 Mike Nichols feature Primary Colors.

After sharing the stalking incident with President Donald Trump, Thompson's work in the Harry Potter films also came up.

“This is not really an important part of my creative endeavor,” she said about her role in Harry Potter.

Thompson highlighted that she would typically join shooting for a few days rather than being part of the whole production.

“I’m really sorry. I don’t mean to be rude to those of you who like Harry Potter, but you know, I really came in, did a bit with glasses and hair, and then left, having been quite well paid,” she added.

At the end, Thompson acknowledged she is “very grateful” to the Harry Potter creators.

In the third Harry Potter film, Prisoner of Azkaban, Thompson's character, Sybill Trelawney, was described as a "hippy chick professor who teaches fortune-telling."
