‘Wednesday’ star Hunter Doohan didn’t meet Lady Gaga: here’s why

Hunter Doohan, who stars as Tyler, the Hyde, in Netflix’s Wednesday, has a “hate crime” to share, as he couldn’t get to meet Lady Gaga.

Doohan said he missed Lady Gaga when she filmed her guest spot on Season 2.

“I’m the one gay guy on the show, and I didn’t get to meet Gaga,” Doohan shared in the latest episode of the Just for Variety podcast.

“This is bulls***,” the actor said, expressing outrage.

However, Doohan said he got to meet Christina Ricci’s son while filming the Willow Hill Psychiatric Hospital scene.

“I think he was disappointed that it was me and not Jenna [Ortega],” Doohan joked.

Moreover, talking about the twisted Wednesday Season 2 Part 1 that ended with a cliffhanger, Doohan reflected on the upcoming story.

“There’s so much more to come about the big mysteries of the season,” Doohan said. “Tyler has a crazy arc. I don’t want to spoil anything, but they kind of established in episode four that he thinks he’s freeing himself of the master, but from Wednesday’s conversation at Willow Hill, we learned that the Hyde can’t survive without a master, so he has no idea what he’s done to himself yet.”
