Nicki Minaj steps in her song’s viral stiletto challenge

Nicki Minaj’s influence on pop and hip-hop culture is so eminent that despite releasing no music in recent time, the rapper is creating trends.

Inspired by her song High School, released in 2012 from her album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded - Re-Up, there is a new trend that has taken over the internet.

Social media trends have gone viral for ages as people of every age who want to fit in, attempt them and take a part in the online campaigns.

While some trends are easy to do, some are difficult, some raise awareness and others are just there for entertainment.

This one is more Nicki Minaj’s persona than anything.

People try to balance themselves on things stacked upon each other as the song plays in the background and the camera pans around while the person attempts to maintain their balance.

Nicki herself has joined in to show everyone how it is done. The rapper appears in gold stilettos paired with a black and gold dress, big sunglasses, as she does her famous pose on the kitchen counter.

Fans have been raving about how skillfully Nicki did it.

One wrote, “I was like ohh finally someone who got it then realized it’s Nicki”.
