Fans mock ex Superman actor Dean Cain for joining ICE

Fans are mocking former Superman actor Dean Cain after he revealed that he would be joining ICE to support President Donald Trump’s anti-immigrant agenda.

Also known as the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, ICE has taken on an aggressive move towards arresting, harassing and deporting immigrants in the country.

After he revealed the news, people quickly took to social media to mock his decision, as one user wrote, “What most people don’t know? In the 1940s, Superman comics literally featured him fighting corrupt politicians and standing up for immigrants. Wild how the symbol flips with time.”

Another observed how odd his views are compared to the hero he played, “imagine playing a character that’s supposed to bring justice to and unite communities just to say something stupid like this.”

“Superman joined ICE… because apparently the villain now is immigration, not corporate greed, gun violence, or climate collapse. We’re really speedrunning dystopia at this point,” observed one user.

Some brought back his statements over facing racism, “He was crying a few days ago about how racist conservatives were mad because he was an Asian playing Superman mind you.”

“So basically washed-up right-wing actor Dean Cain spat on what remained of his Superman legacy by joining up with the ICE jackboots to support 47’s deranged mass deportations agenda,” mocked another.
