Brad Pitt, who was previously married to Angelina Jolie, was left devastated after his mother breathed her last on August 5.
Although the 61-year-old actor is seemingly facing tough time in legal battle with his ex-wife, Brad suffered a major heartbreak after Jane passed away.
According to TMZ, the actor’s mother died at the age of 84 in the last two days.
One of the family members paid a gushing tribute to the departed soul, confirming the news of her demise.
She shared a close bond with the F1 star while remaining out of spotlight. However, Jane did appear on the red carpet few times.
Just days before her sad passing, the Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood star gave a shout out to the mother-off-three.
During his appearance on the Today show, Brad expressed his love for his biggest supporter by saying: “To Jane Pitt. Love you, Mom.”
It is to be noted that her cause of death is yet to be confirmed.
As soon as the news was confirmed, tributes began to pour in from fans and condolences to the family members.
