David Harbour revealed he fell in love with an “extraordinary creature” on the set of Stranger Things, and she is Winona Ryder.
Recently, Lily Allen, Harbour’s ex-wife, released her West End Girl album, which reflects on their toxic relationship following her accusations of Harbour’s infidelity.
Amid the scandal, Harbour reportedly had the strong support of his Stranger Things co-star Winona Ryder.
In an interview with Esquire Spain, the Emmy-nominated actor praised Winona for being raw and real on set when asked about their bond.
“I think that people who have done that at a level where I believe them and fall in love with them in a fake reality,” Harbour said. “I just have such awe of it.”
He called Winona “a deeply emotional human being,” adding that he could never be like her.
“I think she feels things in a way that I could never feel them,” he said. “She has a brain that... my brain couldn’t stretch to that amount of empathy. She’s just an extraordinary creature.”
Moreover, according to The Sun’s sources, “She has his back, and she’ll be at his side next month when they start promoting the final episodes of their show. She is not a judgmental person.”
The insider further revealed to the outlet that, just as Winona supported Johnny Depp’s defense during his scandal, she will be there for Harbour too.
“Because it’s clear to her that he’s getting a raw deal in all of this,” the source said.
