The Office UK is one of the most loved sitcoms globally and while it’s US version is arguably more recognizable, many fans believe the UK one has its unmatched charm.
The show that aired from 2001 to 2003 starred British acting greats like Ricky Gervais, Martin Freeman, Mackenzie Crook and many more.
Ralph Ineson, who starred as the sales representative Chris "Finchy" Finch on the show, has now opened up about the filming experience for the show.
Although the character was a hit, despite his offensive humour, Ralph had his setbacks on if he could match the presence of Ricky and Martin.
“I remember being really terrified. How brilliant they were, the central four, firing off each other,”, Ralph told The Guardian.
Ralph revealed that his first thought while filming was “can I do this?”.
The actor also said that he regretted keeping his own accent because for years fans believed Finch’s personality is actually his own.
“So having people thinking you’re Chris Finch, looking at you with amusement, but also a bit of disgust”, he explained.
Finch’s US counterpart is Todd Packer, played by David Koechner.
