Adria Arjona cast opposite Michael B. Jordan for ‘The Thomas Crown Affair’

Actress Adria Arjona has joined the cast for The Thomas Crown Affair, a reimagining of the original story from Amazon MGM Studios.

She has made her entrance to a star studded cast that includes Kenneth Branagh, Lily Gladstone, Danai Gurira, Pilou Asbæk and Aiysha Hart.

The actress has been cast as the female lead, after Taylor Russell exited the project.

Michael B. Jordan is also directing the film, with production currently taking place in London, set for a tentative March 5, 2027 theatrical release date.

“The story revolves around Thomas, a millionaire businessman and sportsman, who pulls off a bank heist with five strangers. Soon, insurance investigator Vicki sets out to track him down,” reads the synopsis of the 1960s iteration of the movie.

Drew Pearce is responsible for the script, with a previous draft from Wes Tooke and Justin Britt-Gibson based on the original film.

Jordan and Elizabeth Raposo are producers from the Outlier Society. Joining them is Charles Roven from Atlas Entertainment, along with Patrick McCormick and Toberoff Productions’ Marc Toberoff, and writer from the original, Alan Trustman as exxctuive producer.
