Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's new Netflix deal could be worth more than ever

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may be on the brink of an even more lucrative Netflix deal, potentially surpassing their original multimillion-dollar agreement with the streaming giant.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex famously signed a five-year partnership with Netflix in 2020, reportedly worth £75 million. 

But industry insiders have long speculated that the real value of the deal was lower than reported. Still, new reports suggest their next chapter with Netflix could bring an even bigger payout.

According to Daily Mail columnist Alison Boshoff, the couple is likely to land a fresh “first-look” deal with the platform in 2026, one that might rival the $65 million deal Netflix struck with Barack and Michelle Obama.

“Netflix boss Ted Sarandos remains a huge fan, of Meghan’s in particular, and his support is a powerful secret weapon,” Boshoff wrote.

Despite modest viewership numbers for With Love, Meghan (which ranked No. 383 in Netflix’s latest engagement report), the Duchess is reportedly keen to return for a third season of her lifestyle series.

“There will be a third series of the Duchess’s lifestyle show With Love, Meghan, if she wants to make one. And I hear she does,” Boshoff added.

The Sussexes are reportedly exploring additional content ideas centered on seasonal festivities like Thanksgiving and Christmas, a strategic pivot to broaden Meghan’s lifestyle brand and audience appeal.
