Jameela Jamil curates brand new trend at 2020 Emmys: ‘no bra, no heels, no problem'

Sporting a white JJwinks loungewear piece, under a Markarian NYC ombre sequin coat, Jameela Jamil set the 2020 Emmys on fire. But what got fans the most riled up was her effortless caption.

To go along with her ensemble, the actress sported her signature curtain bangs, a drawn-on mole and sculpted and chiseled cheekbones.

The attention came pouring in over on her Instagram account. The picture in question also contained a witty caption that read, "No bra? No heels? NO PROBLEM. Wearing PJ’s to the 72nd Emmy awards (from my house) is my kind of vibes.”

“Excited to see if we win any of the 7 awards we have been nominated for! I still did my make up and wore a sequin dressing gown, because... It’s what Tahani would have wanted. And this is her day, not mine."

During a pre-show interview with E News! Jamil spilled the beans on her Emmys look and claimed, "I've always done my own makeup even on series The Good Place. I'm obsessive about it. I'm at my house. This is the most comfortable I've ever been at the Emmys."

With the ongoing pandemic afoot, the Emmys set their theme ‘informal’. Even a letter from the producers detailed the dress code for the evening. "Our informal theme for the night is 'Come as you are’, but make an effort! If you want to be in formal wear, we'd love that, but equally, if you're in the UK and it's 3 am, perhaps you want to be in designer pajamas and record from your bed!"

Almost immediately after Jamil’s post uploaded, fans began flocking in with loving comments that spired the star on. One of them read, “No bra and no heels? That is definitely Emmy Awards EDS style!” while another wrote, “Swooning over this whole look. Comfy yet polished for the win.”
