Anne Burrell’s sudden death rocked much of her friends and family, and now the police have confirmed the suspected cause of death.

At the time of her passing, the Food Network chef was found unconscious by the New York City Police Department on June 17, and in a report a few days later, authorities detailed that she was found beside an assortment of pills.

The Worst Cooks in America star’s death has now been ruled as a suicide, and was linked to the medicines in her system.

Anne’s reason for passing was specified as an "acute intoxication due to the combined effects of diphenhydramine, ethanol, cetirizine, and amphetamine."

As per a breakdown of the substances, diphenhydramine and cetirizine found in antiallergics, amphetamine is typically used to treat ADHD and ethanol is a compound often linked with alcohol.

The call made by the person who found Anne in her home in Brooklyn believed that she had suffered a cardiac arrest.

Soon after the Secrets of a Restaurant Chef host’s death, tributes started pouring in from all those who knew her, with people remembering her as a great mother, co-host and entertainer.
