Anne Burrell saddened the world with her unexpected passing on June 17 and now the details regarding her passing are coming to light.
The Worst Cooks in America star was pronounced dead by the police after they responded to a call from her place of residence.
At the time, the details surrounding her cause of death were limited, and the 55-year-old had allegedly suffered a cardiac arrest.
Anne, who was found unconscious and unresponsive in her shower by her husband, Stuart Claxton, reportedly had something beside her that could be linked to her sudden death.
According to the New York Post, the celebrated chef had around a dozen pills next to her (which could indicate an overdose) but the source also noted that it was too early to speculate if it had any connection with the passing.
The medical examiner’s report has not been released as of yet, but the police have also stated that they do not suspect foul play.
Soon after Anne’s death, her family posted a heartbreaking update to confirm the news, with the mother-of-three also being remembered by co-stars such as Bobby Flay and Alex Guarnaschelli, along with fans and followers.
Apart from being the stepmother to her husband's son Javier, Anne Burrell was the mother of her three biological children: Isabella, Amelia, and Nicolas.
