Prince Harry’s hopes of repairing ties with King Charles come with a harsh condition, and it could put his future with Netflix at risk.
Since stepping away from royal life in 2020, Harry, 43, has openly criticized his family through interviews, a bombshell memoir, and a Netflix docu-series.
But recent reports suggest reconciliation efforts are quietly underway after Harry’s aides met with King Charles’s communications secretary at London’s exclusive Royal Over-Seas League club last week.
The meeting, attended by Sussex aides Meredith Maines and Liam Maguire, is believed to be the first step in softening relations between father and son.
But insiders warn that Harry will need to meet a tough demand if he wants back in the royal fold: stop launching public attacks on the royal family.
According to royal correspondent Simon Vigar, this condition could put Harry in a bind, especially as Netflix might pressure him for fresh revelations after Meghan Markle’s lifestyle show With Love, Meghan ends.
“If the Netflix deal is continuing, they’re going to say: ‘So much for polo and flower sprinkles, what else have you got?’” Vigar told The Sun’s Royal Exclusive.
