Tom Holland shares exciting details on ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’

Tom Holland has opened up about upcoming Marvel’s film Spider-Man: Brand New Day in a recent interview.

Talking to Flip Your Wig in a video posted on Instagram, the long time Spider-Man actor explained the highly-anticipated movie will set a high bar contrary to Spider-Man: No Way Home and live up to fans’ expectations.

The 29-year-old said: “We were really restricted with what we could do in the last movie because of COVID. We shot the entire film on stage."

“Now, we’re really gonna lean into that old school filmmaking and shoot in real locations,” the Uncharted star continued.

The Odyssey actor revealed: “We are gonna use the street of Glasgow for this massive set piece that we are putting together.”

While talking about fans’ expectations, The Impossible actor said: “It’s gonna feel like a breath of fresh air, and I think the fans are gonna be over the moon with what we are putting together.”

Spider-Man: Brand New Day will star Tom Holland as a lead actor, Zendaya as Michelle ‘MJ’ Jones-Watson, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds and Jon Bernthal as The Punisher.

The upcoming movie will also witness the entry of Stranger Things actress Sadie Sink. However, what role she will be playing is still undefined.

Directed by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings director Destin Daniel Cretton, the movie plot details are under wraps.

However, it has been rumoured that Mark Ruffalo's Hulk could be the main antagonist of the movie.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be released on July 31, 2026.
