Chris Brown denies additional charges

Chris Brown was arrested in May following charges of an assault incident that happened in 2023.

The American singer landed in Manchester for his tour’s UK leg but was arrested by the authorities.

The 36-year-old pleaded not guilty of all charges imposed against him in June.

Chris is accused of assault causing bodily harm to Abraham Diaw at the Tape venue, a private members’ club in Hanover Square, Mayfair, on February 19 2023.

The singer has also denied carrying a weapon, the bottle, in the public place.

Along with Chris, Omololu Akinlolu is also accused and has denied all charges.

The date for a five to seven-day trial has been set for October 26 2026.

During the court appearance, the musician was supported by around 20 fans who sat in the public gallery.

Chris is currently on his tour as he has been allowed to leave on conditional bail.

The singer paid £5 million security fee to the court in bail agreement.
